Walk up to the counter or desk and press E: the shop screen opens.
Pick an item and how many you want. You see the price for the whole amount right away.
Press “Buy”. Your cash is spent first, and whatever is missing comes off your bank card.
Without an active bank card you pay at a counter in cash only: if your cash isn't enough, the purchase won't go through, even with money in your account.
The server won't sell you an item if:
it needs a license and you don't have one;
your pockets already hold the limit for that item (for example, 20 servings of the same food);
it's too heavy to carry: a character carries 30 kg, more with a backpack.
Clothes shops sell 1,000 items of the game's clothing, from 60 €$ to 75,000 €$, and backpacks. Each shop has its own range, and you can try anything on before you buy it. The shops, prices and the fitting room are on the Clothing page.
Gun shops sell weapons, ammo and armor vests on the “Weapons and gear” tab, and mods on the “Weapon mods” tab. NCPD precincts sell the gun license for 5,000 €$: without it you can't buy weapons, ammo, a heavy armor vest or silencers. For prices, see Weapons, ammo and armor and Weapon mods.
