Calls and messages

#Calls
- Open the “Phone” app. It has three tabs: “Recents”, “Contacts” and “Keypad”.
- Dial a number on the keypad, or pick a contact and press “Call”.
- The phone rings for 30 seconds. If nobody picks up, you get “No answer”.
- To talk on the phone, hold N, just like with normal voice chat. The other person hears you wherever they are, and people near you hear you as usual.
- The “Mute” button during a call mutes your voice completely, not just for the other person.
- During a call, the “Message” button opens your conversation with them.
#When you can't get through
| What you get | Why |
| “Unavailable” | They're offline, have no phone, are unconscious or have “Do not disturb” on. They'll have a missed call, at most one a minute from you |
| “Busy” | They're already on a call. They'll have a missed call too |
| “No such number” | The number was dialed wrong |
| “Call lost” | The other person left the game or switched characters |
If you get handcuffed, the call drops.
#Contacts
- Up to 200 contacts, in alphabetical order, with search. Your own number is at the top of the list.
- A contact's card has “Message”, “Call” and “Copy” (for the number), and you can delete the contact there.
- You learn other characters' numbers in-game: the phone itself never shows names.
#Messages
- A message can be up to 300 characters; Enter sends it.
- Messages get through even if the recipient is offline: they see them when they log in.
- A new message pops up on screen even with “Do not disturb” on.
