Places on the map

Every place has its own icon on the map (M), and the E key works next to it. Every place that serves customers has someone working there: a vendor, a bartender, a doctor.

The doors of the places are open from the street, even those that are locked in single-player: you can walk into the Afterlife, the Konpeki Plaza bar and the gun shops in Japantown and West Wind Estate.

#People at the places

147 people work in the city: every place with customers has its own vendor, bartender, doctor or clerk. Only the ATMs have nobody.

• 15 of them are the game's own characters at their usual spots: Claire behind the bar at the Afterlife, Viktor Vektor at his clinic, Fingers in Japantown, Farida in Dogtown, Pepe at El Coyote Cojo, Zane at Jinguji, three gunsmiths and the bartender at Konpeki Plaza.
• Every worker keeps one look: they look the same every time you meet them.

#Banks

A bank branch does everything: issues a bank card, takes and pays out cash, sends money, opens a deposit and takes fines. A branch serves you without a card too. The “Welcome to Night City” quest only counts at a bank counter.

The city has 109 ATMs, all over Night City and even in the Badlands. An ATM works only with a Bank of Night City card: with it you can deposit and withdraw cash, send money and read your statement. More in Money and the bank.

#Clinics

Clinics sell bandages and medkits, and at the counter you can get treated for 400 €$. This is also where people who get knocked out end up: your character comes to in the nearest clinic.

#Police

NCPD stations. This is where you buy a gun license, for 5,000 €$. Outside each precinct there are barriers, floodlights, a podium with a tablet, the NCPD badge and parked police cars with their doors locked.

#Dealerships

Autofixer dealerships: a catalog of every car and motorbike, purchases and free test drives. A car you buy waits for you on the dealership's lot.

#Garages and parking

This is where you take out your car and park it again. It doesn't matter which garage it was parked in: any of them will hand it over.

#Barbers

A new hairstyle, face, beard, makeup, tattoos and piercings for 500 €$. The game has no barbershops of its own, so the barbers work at markets.

#Gun shops

Weapons, ammo, body armor and weapon mods. You need a license to buy weapons, ammo, the heavy vest and silencers.

#Clothing stores

Clothes, shoes and backpacks. Each store has its own range, and you can try things on: more on the Clothing page.

#Gas stations

CHOOH2 fuel for cars, and jerry cans. All 12 gas stations are in Santo Domingo and the Badlands: central Night City has none. How to fill up and what it costs is on the Fuel and gas stations page.

#Ripperdocs

Street doctors' clinics: bandages and medkits.

#Diners

Food and drinks.

#Bars and clubs

Beer, whiskey, soda, water and chips.

#Kiosks and pharmacies

24/7 kiosks sell water, soda, coffee, chips, sweets and bandages. Pharmacies sell bandages, medkits and water.

#Other places

• The job center in Downtown: this is where you get hired. Each job's depot has its own mark on the map, but the “E” prompt there only shows for that job's workers.
• Hotels: five hotels with rooms by the day. More in Hotels.
• Faction bases: the police stations, Trauma Team, City Hall, N54 News and the gangs. At a base, the E key only works for the faction's members.
• Rita by the bank in Downtown: she gives newcomers a phone.
