Tablet and marketplace

On this page

The marketplace is the players' market, where items, cars and homes are sold and bought. It runs on the tablet: without a tablet in your pockets, the marketplace won't open. All the money goes through the server, so neither the buyer nor the seller can be cheated.

#The tablet

  • Where to buy it: at any 24/7 store or kiosk for 3,000 €$; the city has 24 of them. Where they are: see Places on the map.
  • How to take it out: the ↓ arrow key, or “Take out the tablet” on it in the inventory. The same key puts it away, and the ↑ arrow key switches straight to the phone.
  • What's on it: the marketplace, plus the phone's apps on a big screen: the bank, the GPS, N54 News, the garage and homes.
  • The tablet is an ordinary item. You can give it away, trade it or sell it.

#The shop window

The marketplace's main screen shows every player's lots. There's a search (by item, car, district or seller), filters by price per unit and by district, and categories:

CategoryWhat's in it
WeaponsWeapons, mods, grenades, armor vests
ClothesClothes and backpacks
TransportCars and motorcycles
Food and drinksFood and drinks
MedicineWhat heals
DrugsDrugs. Sellers here stay anonymous
Real estateApartments and houses, never hotel rooms
OtherEverything else: devices, jerry cans

A lot's card shows the price, the seller (strangers see only the first name and the surname's first letter, acquaintances the whole name), the seller's words, where the lot was put up and what the same item costs in the city's shops. A weapon shows the mods on it and how many rounds are in its magazine: all of it goes to the buyer with the weapon. Drugs don't show the seller: the card says “Anonymous”, and instead of a shop price it says “At the night dealers”.

#How to buy

  1. Pick a lot and how many you want.
  2. Press “Buy” and confirm: you pay by bank card only, from anywhere in the city.
  3. An item goes straight into your pockets, a car into your garage, and a home becomes yours along with its keys.

The server won't sell if:

  • the purchase won't fit in your pockets by weight or by count;
  • you already have the most cars or homes you can;
  • it's a lot of your own other character's;
  • your character is new: for the first 120 minutes of play, it doesn't spend money on other players.

The marketplace asks for no licenses: weapons, ammo and grenades are bought here without a gun license too. But carrying a weapon without a license is still a matter for the NCPD under the city's laws.

#How to sell

  1. Open “Sell”: on the left are the items in your pockets, the cars in your garage and your homes.
  2. Pick what to sell, set the price per unit and the count. You can add a few words for buyers.
  3. Press “Put up”: the listing fee is taken from your card at once.
  • An item leaves your pockets for the lot and comes back if nobody buys it. A car on sale stays locked in the garage: you can't take it out or call it. A home on sale takes nothing new into its wardrobe.
  • The money from a sale comes to your card at once, with a notice. If you weren't in the game, you get “While you were away: ...” when you come in.
  • “My lots”: what's on sale and how much has sold. This is also where you change a price and take a lot back. A price can change once every 2 minutes, and a higher price pays the difference in the fee.
  • “Deals”: all your sales and purchases. A drug deal doesn't name the other side.

#What can't be sold

  • Personal items and documents: the passport, the phone, licenses, quest items.
  • The ammo in your pockets. The rounds in a weapon's magazine are sold along with it.
  • What you're wearing: only things in your pockets are sold.
  • Starter clothes and any of a new character's things in its first 120 minutes of play.
  • A hotel room, and a home you only have a key to.
  • A car that's out in the city: send it to the garage first. Empty the trunk before the sale, and pick up the things lying on your home's floor.

#Fees and time limits

WhatHow much
Listing fee1% of the whole lot's price, from 20 €$ to 1,500 €$. Half as much with premium
Sale commission5% of each sale, paid by the seller. Half as much with premium
A lot's time7 days, then whatever is unsold comes back
Lots on saleUp to 10 per character

The fee and the commission go to the city. Payment is by card only: without a bank card the marketplace works neither for buying nor for selling.
