#8. Property, money and vehicles
Deals between characters are made in the game: through the trade window, by handing over cash or by bank transfer. The server trades exactly what was put in the trade window, so check what's in it before you confirm.
Deceiving others in the game is allowed as part of role-play: a character can lie, not pay back a debt, sell a car for more than it's worth. Deceiving out of character is forbidden: promising something outside the game, using the administration as cover, exploiting server bugs or a player's personal trust.
You may not pass valuables between your own characters, either directly or through other players.
The server lets anyone start an unlocked car. You may take someone else's car only with a role-play reason: a car theft as role-play, a chase, rescuing someone who's wounded. A stolen car may not be used for DB or left where it gets in others' way.
Blocking building entrances, roads, spawn points, dealership lots and garage exits with cars is forbidden.
A car or house key means trust. Once you're given a key, you use the property the way you agreed. Claims against someone you gave a key to are settled in the game, and you can take the key back at any time.
Getting into someone else's home, garage or trunk through game or server bugs is forbidden.
A business owner doesn't use the business to move money between their own characters or to launder money gained by breaking the rules.
N54 ads must be honest: you sell what you actually have, at the stated price. Ads to sell or buy for real money are punished under rule 1.6.
The administration doesn't give back what you lost through your own mistake (a wrong account number, handing over the wrong item, forgetting to extend a hotel room). If things went missing because of a server failure, send a report with the “Bug” category.
