On this page
Ads run in the N54 News feed, which everyone with a phone sees. You post them in the “Ads” app: it has the “Feed”, “New ad” and “My ads” tabs, and editors on duty also get “Newsroom”.
#Prices
| Category | Fee |
|---|---|
| Vehicles | 800 €$ |
| Property | 1,000 €$ |
| Business | 1,000 €$ |
| Buying | 300 €$ |
| Services | 400 €$ |
| Jobs | 300 €$ |
| Other | 300 €$ |
The fee comes out of your cash first, then your account.
#Posting an ad
- Open “Ads”, then the “New ad” tab.
- Pick a category and write the text: 10 to 200 characters.
- Enter a price, or leave the field empty: the ad will then say “Price on request”.
- For a sale ad, you can attach your own car, home or business. Readers can then mark the home or business on their map.
- Send it and pay: cash is taken first, and the rest comes off your bank card. Without an active card nothing can come from the account.
#What happens next
- An N54 editor on duty checks the ad: they put it on the air (and may edit the text) or turn it down with a reason. If it's turned down, you get your money back.
- If no editors are on duty, the ad goes out by itself in about 150 seconds. If there are editors on duty but they're busy, it goes out by itself within 15 minutes at most.
- An ad stays on the air for 24 hours.
#Limits
- You can have one ad waiting for review at a time, and no more than 3 on the air.
- Your next ad goes on the air no sooner than 10 minutes after the previous one.
- A car, home or business can be attached to only one ad. If you sell it in the meantime, the ad comes down by itself.
- You need a phone to post ads. You can't post one while handcuffed.
#Withdrawing an ad
- An ad still waiting for review can be called off in “My ads”: you get your money back.
- You can take down an ad that's on the air yourself, but you don't get the money back.
#The feed
The feed has search, a category filter and up to 150 ads. Each ad has “Call them” and “Write” buttons for reaching its author. New ads pop up on screen, except your own and except when “Do not disturb” is on.
N54 breaking news arrives as a red pop-up and stays at the top of the feed. The newsroom puts it out: more on the N54 News page.
