K opens the “Animations” menu: 33 emotes in four groups. Everyone nearby sees your emote, even players who walk up after it has started.

#How to stop
An emote ends when you press “Stop”, take a step, start another emote or get into a car. Esc closes the menu.
#When you can't
Emotes don't start in a car, in water or while you're unconscious. You can't use them while carrying someone either.
