#What's for sale

Every home is a real Night City apartment or house. Each buyer gets their own copy of the rooms, so one layout serves hundreds of addresses.

There's no tax or upkeep on a home: once you buy it, it's yours.

#Where to look

The doors of homes for sale aren't marked on the map. Look for them in the phone (↑): the “Homes” app, “For sale” tab. It has search, a district filter, sorting by price and distance, and a map marker.

#Viewing and buying

Follow the marker to the door and press E: the home's card opens, with its price.
“Look inside”: you find yourself in your own copy of the home and can look around. You can't use the wardrobe during a viewing.
“Buy”, then confirm. The money comes from your bank account first, then from your cash.

One character can own up to 3 homes.
Your homes are marked on the map and the minimap with their own icon.

#Inside

Every home is a separate space. People inside can't be seen or heard from the street, and the other way round.
There are no cars inside: you can't call a car, lock or unlock it, or open the car menu or a trunk from a home. You also can't go in straight from a car: get out first.
You leave through the door. If you walk too far from the entrance, you end up outside at this home's door.

#Locks and guests

A new home is locked: only the owner and people with a key can go in.
If you open the door, anyone can come in as a guest. The owner gets a notification when someone comes in. Guests can't use the wardrobe.
You can lock or open the door and ask guests to leave at the door or from the phone's “Homes” app.

#Selling

You can sell a home only to the city, at its door.

The city pays 60% of its current price (not the price you paid). The money goes to your bank account.
Empty the wardrobe and pick up everything lying on the floor first: you can't sell with things inside (“Things are still lying on the floor inside: pick them up first”).
Everyone inside ends up outside. All keys are gone, and anyone who had this home as their spawn point is switched to “Where I left”.

You can't sell a home directly to another player: only to the city.
