#Gun license
Three NCPD stations sell the license for 5,000 €$:

- The license is your character's document: you can't give it away, throw it away or put it in a wardrobe.
- The server checks it only when you buy: you can carry and use a weapon without one, but then you answer to the NCPD under the city's laws.

#How to buy a weapon
- Buy a license at an NCPD station.
- Go to any gun shop: there are 14 around the city. The list is on the Places on the map page.
- Buy a weapon and ammo for it: new weapons come with an empty magazine.
- Open the inventory (Tab) and choose “Use” on the weapon to put it in a slot. Draw it with 1 or 2 and load it with R.
#Weapon slots
Your character has two weapon slots, on the 1 and 2 keys. A weapon in your pockets is just an item until you put it in a slot. Pressing the slot's key again puts the weapon away.
#What you can't do
- Draw a weapon while handcuffed, in jail, while carrying someone or while being carried.
- Shoot from a green zone or at anyone inside one.
- Give away or throw away ammo: everyone buys their own.
